Save Our Sonics, or SOS, is a
Seattle activist group that is trying to permanently secure professional basketball in theSeattle area. They were founded in 2006 in reaction toHoward Schultz 's sale of theSeattle Supersonics toClayton Bennett , who had proclaimed to Oklahoma City residents only a few months earlier that he and his fellow investors were "100% committed to finding a team for this city in the long term."
