Oseh Shalom Synagogue (Laurel, Maryland)

Oseh Shalom is a Reconstructionist Judaism synagogue in Laurel, Maryland, USA. Members of the community hail from many parts of the Washington-Baltimore area, including Howard County, Montgomery County, Prince George's County, and Anne Arundel County.

The synagogue building is located at 7515 Olive Branch Way in Laurel, several minutes from the intersection of I-95 and Route 198. Weekly sabbath tefillah (prayer) services, religious school for approximately 150 students, adult education, High Holiday services and numerous other programs occur onsite.

Rabbi Doug Heifetz serves as the congregation's full-time Rabbi. He arrived in August 2006, following the retirement of Rabbi Gary Fink. Cantor Charles (Charlie) Bernhardt is the cantor, and Maryana Harouni serves as Religious School Education Director.

Oseh Shalom was founded in 1966. It affiliated with the Reconstructionist Jewish Movement in 1979.
