High Like Five is a bay area based band and since their launch three and half years ago, they have gained momentum in the bay area music scene. They have performed with several National Musical Acts such as Die Trying (Island Records 2003), Sean Kingston (Epic Records 2008), Tyrone Wells (Universal Records 2007), Pepper (Atlantic Records 2006), Blackalicious (Epitaph Records 2005), and The Plain White T’s (Hollywood Records 2006). Performing at venues such as Slim's of San Francisco, The Knitting Factory in Hollywood, The Elbow Room in San Francisco, Blake's on Telegraph in Berkeley, The Metro in Oakland, and The Roxy in Hollywood just to name a few. The band has received positive attention throughout California. The members of the Band are Hector Zaragoza, on lead vocals and guitar,Shy Sayar on lead guitar and back up vocals,Sean Lopez on Bass, and Kyle Geary on drums. The band meets in the middle between pop rock influences, and the blues that drove classic rock.
High Like Five is known for their catchy, upbeat melodies, jovial live performances and energetic stage presence. High Like Five cites bands such as Jimmy Eat World and The Police as influences as the band's songwriting and production are driven by a pop rock sensibility.
