Arab American gangs

Arab American gangs

Arab American street gangs are not a common sight in the United States. Most Middle Eastern American gangs are born out of the need for protection against racism. The need for gangs of this type began after the Gulf War, however, in the Midwest there still exist sets of the TAP Boyz (The Arabian Posse) gang which is one of the few Arab American gangs recognized by law enforcement.
