- Satan Disciples
The Satan Disciples started in the year 1964 by King Satan. The SDs were said to have been helped out starting up by David Barksdale and the Devil’s Disciples (now known as Black Disciples). The Satan Disciples were a white gang when they first formed. They started in Canaryville around the corner of 48th and Halsted. But they may have started on the corner of 21st and Western; details are sketchy as to which one of these two corners they started at. Nevertheless, the SDs soon set up shop near 24th and California and had a stronghold in the western part of the Pilsen community in the 1960s. In the early 1970s the SDs began the recruit Latinos rapidly as many white members left the gang. The white members that were leaving were guided out by an SD named Kingfish who took these white SDs and flipped them to Southside Gaylords. Throughout the 1970s the SDs soon became a mostly Latino gang. In 1978 the Satan Disciples joined the Folk Nation alliance because of their relationship with the BGDs and BDs. Mainly they joined because of their tight relationship with the Black Disciples. By the early 1980s the SDs had a presence on 47th and Damen, Oakley and Cermak, 18th and Hoyne, 21st and Leavitt, 16th and Fairfield, and their original hoods. They attended Juarez H.S., and Harrison H.S. In the prison system the SDs were a part of the F.L.D.N. which was the unity of six Latino street gangs in Chicago which included: Spanish Cobras, Satan Disciples, Imperial Gangsters, Latin Eagles, Two Sixs, and Latin Disciples. So basically it was the unity of Latino Folk gangs for all around the city, while the United Latino Organization (ULO) only consisted of: Spanish Cobras, Imperial Gangsters, Latin Eagles, and Latin Disciples. By the mid 1980s the SDs began to grow rapidly expanding more Southside/Westside sets such as Gage Park and Brighton Park. The SDs also expanded into the Northside of Chicago opening up shop in East Village. They also expanded into the suburbs of Cicero and Bridgeport. In the year 1988 or 1989 the SDs went to war with the Two Sixs because an SD killed a Darkside Two Six on the corner of 26th and Pulaski. This war severely fractured the F.L.D.N. The war started at a time when folks were more unified and interalliance wars were frowned upon; however, the war had to continue. In later years the SDs have gone to war with other fellow Folks such as: Ambrose, C-Notes, Insane Dragons, Insane Deuces, Milwaukee Kings, and Harrison Gents. In certain parts of the city the SDs fight with the MLDs too. The SDs are divided into two parts, one part controlled by Richard Valesquez Sr. and his son Jr. the other half is controlled by Aggie Villalobos. The Twins (the Valesquezes) were convicted of racketeering and drug charges during operation vendetta II. Villalobos has been in and out of jail for petty crimes, he continues to carry the title of Prince. Five or Six years ago SDs began to lose territory in Cicero because of heavy Police pressure along with being heavily outnumbered by the Latin Counts.
In Recent Years, Satan Disciples Began Loosing Turf Either By Police Pressure ,Or Being Outnumbered By Rival Gangs. Also Some Satan Disciples Factions Have Gone "Renegade" Or Also Known As "EBK" Every Body Killa,Even Turning On Fellow Allies Such As The Gangster Disciples..And Forming New Renegade Sets.
