Gabriele Moreno Locatelli (Canzo in Italia, 1959 – Sarajevo in Bosnia, 3 October 1993) was an Italian pacifist, killed by a marksman hidden during the Bosnian War.
Biography
Sensitive and generous young man, him if he engaged very fast in diverse actions Catholic to help the most discriminated by Italy, he was still student in theology and literature.
A selection of its poetries and papers is chosen posthumous in the "La mia strada" book.
The killing to Sarajevo
Locatelli had entered the "Beati i Costruttori di Pace" Catholic association , Sarajevo was their first urgency. It was absolutely necessary to find a peace solution enter Bosnian and Serbs; the civil life in the city was pitiful. Why ? Because there were marksmen hidden almost everywhere, they killed whoever.
