The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a 60-mile walk to raise funds and awareness to fight
breast cancer . Frequently referred to as the 3-Day, participants commit to fundraising, training, and dedicating a three-day weekend to the event.About
The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a series of walks that take place in various cities nationwide. Thousands of participants travel an average of 20 miles a day during the event, raising awareness for breast cancer throughout the streets and the media nationwide.
The Breast Cancer 3-Day supports its participants before the event by providing knowledgeable coaches, training assistance, fundraising advice, and a personal fundraising webpage. During the Breast Cancer 3-Day, participants are provided with three meals a day, snacks, liquids, mobile showers, port-a-potties, tents to sleep in, safety guidelines, and 24-hour medical support.
Each participant raises a minimum of $2,200, and the net proceeds fund breast cancer research and community outreach programs.
