Aaron Hillegass (born 1969) is the author of "Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X", the most popular introductory text for Cocoa developers, and the proprietor of the
Big Nerd Ranch , a provider of Macintosh software developer training.After working with the
NEXTSTEP operating system as a university graduate, he developed NEXTSTEP application software forWall Street . This led to teaching others how to develop software for NEXTSTEP and a job atNeXT .
