This single = "Magic Mountain" (1976)Magic Mountain is a song performed by
Eric Burdon & War in 1970. It was the b-side to their debut single hit "Spill the Wine ".When they first recorded it, it was supposed to release as a single. But for some
sexual anddrug references the radio DJs won't play it. So it was only the b-side.This group was known for their sound featuring a mix of
soul ,funk ,gospel ,blues , rock, reggae ,psychedelic andR&B . Sometimes their sound is described aship hop . In this song Burdon rapped a small but important part. While the group disbanded in 1971, Magic Mountain was never featured on an album. In 1976
Rhino /Avenue released a compilation of them, Love Is All Around. This album featured some unreleased tracks, but also songs which never released on an album, who where only b-sides.To promote this compilation, they released "Magic Mountain" as a single.
