Randle Patrick McMurphy are friends in the novel and film adaption and are often having conversations with each other.One night, McMurphy brings two prostitutes and some marijuana into the psychiatric ward and he and the other patients have a party. That night, McMurphy pays a prostitute named Candy to have sex with Billy so that he can lose his virginity. The next morning,
Nurse Ratched , who has found out about the party and that Billy had had sex, threatens to tell Billy's mother about what happened. Because of this, he commits suicide by slitting his throat.
