Dyspontioi

Dyspontioi (Δυσπόντιοι, modern forms: "Dyspontii", "Disponti(o)i" or "Dispondi(o)i") was an ancient city in Elis.

It was mentioned by Pausanias, which he passed from the city and does not bring earlier information about the city. It was part of the "Pisaea" country and was located near Pisa, the name and resident was Dysponteas, son of Oenomaus. Dysponteas was also Antimachus, an Olympiad in the stadium during the second olympics in 772 BC. [Pausanias "Eleaca" II]
