Joe Davis West, Jr. (born February 1, 1984 in city-state|Melbourne|Florida) is an American football wide receiver who is a practice squad player for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League. He was signed by the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He played college football at Texas-El Paso.
West is the younger brother of baseball pitcher Tracy Thorpe.
Professional career
New Orleans Saints
West was waived by the Saints during final cuts on August 30, 2008. He was subsequently re-signed to the team's practice squad.
Personal
West's cousin, Doug West, and uncle, Mark West, played in the National Basketball Association.
