Torbain Primary School is a non-denominational state-funded primary school in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland.It is at present the largest primary school in Kirkcaldy and the third largest in Fife.

The school caters for pupils from 3 to 12 years of age. The territorial area comprises of several large housing estates and some rural housing in Kirkcaldy.

The school is split site with a single story infant/nursery building and an open plan three story block,The school has a school board and an active school association which is held in the main multi story building

There are: 23 full time teachers, 15 learning support teachers, 2 nursery teachers, 2 SEN auxiliaries, 2 classroom assistants, 6 nursery nurses and 4 clerical assistants.

Management

The headteacher, Mrs Caroline Bruce and Mrs Susan Tollick, DHT, have both been in post since August 2005. Mrs Louise Alexander, Depute for upper-school started in April 2006.
