Halldis Neegaard Østbye, (born Neegaard, 1898 in Stor Elvdal, dead 1983) was a Norwegian antisemit and national socialist. She was during
World War II known as a prominent member of the fascistNasjonal Samling party, and was referred to as "Norway's most fanatical naziwoman" byArne Skouen . Aside from her political activity, she is remembered as the first chairman of the Lady's Ski club, and was thus very important for the womens ski sport development in Norway.
