In a hole underground lived three hares; a big-sized hare (Uncle Henry), a middle-sized hare (Auntie Em), and a baby-sized hare (Toto). The big hare complained that they were rabbits, not hares.
The middle size hare was preparing to cook oatmeal. "What's that awful smell?" The middle hare told her family that the oatmeal had burnt. They decided to eat out.
A girl named Goldilocks bounced her ball. It fell into the bears' cave, and hopped in. "Hmmmm..." she thought when she came to the kitchen. "Three bowls of burnt oatmeal."
She ate the big bowl. It was too hot. She tried the middle bowl. "Hmm. Ice cubes." It was too cold. She tried the baby bowl. "Cinnamon-raisin, my favorite!" It was just right, so she ate it all up.
She went upstairs to the sitting room. There was a big chair. She tried it. It was too hard. She tried the middle chair. "Whoever owns this chair is off his ROCKER!" The middle chair went too fast. Then she tried the baby chair. "Ahh... this is just... right!" It broke into pieces.
Now she went to the bedroom. The first two beds were not perfect, so she laid on the baby bed, where Goldilocks went asleep.
Meanwhile, the three hares came home. They discovered that someone has broken in. Geese Police and the hares found something was wrong, their oatmeal were eaten, there chairs have been sat on, and sleeping on their beds. Toto found Goldilocks sleeping on his bed.
