Al Wasl Hospital is the first hospital in Dubai that provides medical care specifically for women and children. it was established by the government in Dubai back in 1987 and contained 2 separate sections for women care / pregnancy and for children. the hospital provides free medical service to local population holding the nationality of the united arab emirates and provides services at minimal costs to expatriates living and working in the country. the hospital is headed currently by Dr. Abdullah Al Khayat and the pediatrics section is headed by dr. shahraban abdullah
