Confederation of Bushwalking Clubs NSW

The Confederation of Bushwalking Clubs NSW is an Australian organisation that represents the interests of the many bushwalking clubs in the state of New South Wales. The confederation, in affiliation with similar bodies in the other states of Australia is represented at a national level by Bushwalking Australia.

Advocacy

The confederation lobbies and advocates for the interests of bushwalking clubs and bushwalkers to the New South Wales State Government as well as local governments, media outlets and other community groups.

Advice

The confederation also provides advice and information to its member clubs. Information relating to government regulations, member club insurance and legal liabilities and environmental and national park issues is collected and disseminated by the confederation.

ister Associations

Each state of Australia has an equivalent body and they jointly fund Bushwalking Australia, which undertakes a public lobbying and advocacy role at a national level.
