Early Life
Born in
Welwyn Garden City to an English mother, Ann, and Lebanese father, Riad, Michael led an ordinary life until the age of 8 when he was spotted playing for Gosling Youth.Football career
Despite only making a handful of appearances for his country, Chehade formed an amicable central midfielder partnership with current star, and all time record holding appearance and goal scorer, Roda Antwar. Chehade's crowning international moment came just over two years later, as his hattrick versus Saudi Arabia on March 17th 2007 sealed a historic victory for his nation over a much superior footballing nation.
Michael's career was sadly cut short in May 2007, after sustaining a freak injury whilst saving a six year old child from the path of an oncoming cyclist left him with a dislocated patella which he never recovered from. He has since made a comeback for several local teams, most notably, Welwyn St. Mary's and Lemsford Town FC although never reaching his former heights.
