Hidesaburō Kurushima (久留島秀三郎) (
September 11 ,1888 –September 22 ,1970 ) was a President, International Commissioner, and Chairman of the National Board of theBoy Scouts of Japan , the younger brother of nihongo|Nakano Chūkichi |中野忠八.He was the discoverer of
Hakore hot springs .In 1967, Kurushima was awarded the 43rd "
Bronze Wolf ", the only distinction of theWorld Organization of the Scout Movement , awarded by the World Scout Committee for exceptional services to world Scouting, at the 21st World Scout Conference.References
