The Battle of Stracathro, took place in
1130 in Angus, Scotland.Óengus of Moray andMáel Coluim mac Alaxandair invaded Scotland with 5000 warriors according to the Anglo-Norman chroniclerOrderic Vitalis . The forces loyal toDavid I of Scotland under Edward, son of Siward, met and defeated the invading army. Óengus of Moray was himself killed along with some 4000 of the Moravians.References
