Battle of Stracathro

The Battle of Stracathro, took place in 1130 in Angus, Scotland. Óengus of Moray and Máel Coluim mac Alaxandair invaded Scotland with 5000 warriors according to the Anglo-Norman chronicler Orderic Vitalis. The forces loyal to David I of Scotland under Edward, son of Siward, met and defeated the invading army. Óengus of Moray was himself killed along with some 4000 of the Moravians.
