Quwēq

Quwēq (North Syrian Arabic: قواق) is a 129 km-long-river that flows through the northern Syrian city of Aleppo. It arises near Aintab in southern Turkey. The river was formerly known as the "Chalis" and took its current name in early Islamic histroy.
