Gabriel Ramirez Garcia is a major character from the anime, . He was the junior member of Zeon's elite Cyclops Team up until the arrival of Bernard "Bernie" Wiseman, whom Garcia eagerly takes to bullying. He and the rest of the Cyclops Team are sent on a mission to find and either capture or destroy (depending upon the circumstance) the Earth Federation's top secret weapon, the Gundam Alex. Thanks to the help of Alfred Izuruha, Bernie is able to locate it but Garcia punches him for taking such a stupid risk. The Cyclops Team later formulates a plan where Garcia, Bernie, and Steiner Hardy infiltrate the Libot base disguised as Earth Federation soldiers while Mikhail Kaminsky diverts the attention of the rest of the base with his Kämpfer. Before they undertake this risky mission, Garcia tells Bernie not to get killed because otherwise he (Garcia) won't have anybody to order around. Unfortunatley, the mission goes dangerously awry when the soldiers catch on to Bernie's lie about coming in from Australia and a gunfight begins. Garcia is fatally wounded while killing several Earth Federation soldiers and attempting to blow up the Gundam Alex, and with his last ounce of strength, he blows himself up.
