Blake marked the way for more young riders to compete in sub level ATV events. Although without sponsors and financial backing he managed to be a main competitor in the sport. Riders such asJared Davis andAaron Green got there starts by teaming up with Blake and starting the"Young Gun" movement. The "Young Gun" Movement was said to start a new era in Offroad racing. Leading the way for the average person to compete in major level events.Early Career
Blake was born in
Pearland ,Texas to Stacy and Brent Binford. Blake started racing at the age of 15 at unorganized offroad events. Most of the racing was illegal due to being on private property. Blake took the local racing community by storm and soon became a local known name. After trouble with local police he moved all his concerns on sanctioned offroad events at nearby offroad parks.2007
Blake entered the local racing community. Little known and without sponsors Blake finished 12th For the year. People began to notice the all or nothing style of riding Blake used in races. He became popular among the fans of the sport but was disliked by most of the competing drivers. Due to the recklessness that he raced with. He also had many problems due to the repeated mechanical failure of his ATV.
2008
With a vast amount of fans supporting him Blake managed a 3rd place overall in 2008. With drivers beginning to support him he is becoming more widely known as a Competing Driver. Other people Blake competed with in his early career started making the transformation over the the legal class of racing. Starting the "Young Guns" movement has let the sport become increasingly popular with different age groups.
