Libania Grenot

Libania Grenot Martinez Scafetti is a Cuban born but now Italian female athlete.

Born in Santiago de Cuba on 12 July 1983 she grow up in her native Cuba, where she started her sport career in track and field. In 2006 she married an Italian man and relocated to Casalpalocco, Italy and in 2008 she acquired Italian citizenship. She is the current holder of Italian record 400 meters with the time of 50.83 seconds this performance took place in Beijing during the semifinal of 400 meters, despite this performance Grenot didn't reach the final.
