German Barranca

German (Costales) Barranca was a Major League Baseball player. He was born on October 19, 1956 in Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave, Mexico and played second base. He is 6 feet tall and 160 pounds. He made his Baseball debut on September 2, 1979 for the Kansas City Royals. He played 5 games that year and also played 7 games with the Royals in 1980. He also played for the Cincinnati Reds in 1981 and 1982. German played 67 games in Major League Baseball, the majority of them with the Reds in 1982 with 46. Barranca had just 13 career hits in 51 at bats (a .255 average). He also had 2 RBI and 2 stolen bases.
