2006 European Championships in Athletics - Women's high jump

These are the results of the women's high jump event at the 2006 European Championships in Athletics in Gotheborg, Sweden.
Belgium's Tia Hellebaut won the competition setting a new championship and national record (2.03 m). By winning Hellebaut gave Belgium its second gold medal at these championships after Kim Gevaert had already won the women's 100 metres event. Ten minutes after the high jump competition ended, Gevaert ran the final of the women's 200 metres and won a third gold medal for Belgium.
