Peter Irvine Redfern is a former Major League Baseball pitcher. He had a seven-season career in the majors from by|1976 until by|1982, all with the Minnesota Twins.

Redfern was the Twins' first-round pick, and the first pick overall in the secondary phase of the 1976 draft. He made his debut that May, and pitched for them until being released at the end of spring training in by|1983.

In by|1982, Redfern was the starting pitcher in the first Twins game at the Metrodome, facing the Seattle Mariners. He lost the game to Floyd Bannister. [ [http://minnesota.twins.mlb.com/pressbox/downloads/y2007/min/misc.pdf] 2007 Twins Media Guide]
