Pundori Kalan

Pundori Kalan is a village between Manchar Chatha and Pundori Khurd next to Nawa kot, in Gujranwala District, Punjab, Pakistan. The population comprises of various castes. However chattha is the biggest of them all. Farooq Ahmed Chattha was the first ever NAZIM and CHAIRMAN of union council Pundori Kalan. He started active participation in politics as student leader.

The oldest political figure was Muhammad Husain Chattha, who actively participated in partition movement as student leader. He was one of the companions of QUAID-E-AZAM MUHAMMAD ALI JINNAH.
