B road inAberdeenshire ,Scotland , extending convert|35.8|mi from the B974 road at the village of Strachan in the east to the A939 road at Gairnshiel Lodge in the west. For convert|380|m|yd to the west ofCrathie Kirk the route is shared with theA93 road . The section of the road from the gates ofBalmoral Castle to Strachan lies entirely to the south of the River Dee and (along with the parts of the B974, C36K and B9077 roads between Strachan andAberdeen ) is widely referred to locally as the South Deeside Road.References
