Péter Tóth (
July 12 ,1882 –February 28 ,1967 ) was a Hungariansabre and foil fencer.Olympics
Tóth won
gold medal s in team sabre at the1908 Olympics inLondon , and at the1912 Olympics inStockholm .He competed for Hungary in the
1906 Summer Olympics held inAthens ,Greece in the individual Sabre where he won bronze medal and in the1928 Olympics inAmsterdam where he came 5th in the team foil competition.Later life
He was a founding member of
Fédération Internationale d'Escrime in 1913.He was working on a book about the history of fencing.
He died in a car accident in Budapest.
