Marvin Franklin born in 1956 in Indianapolis, Indiana is a former Marine(honorably discharged). Marvin Franklin went to Broad Ripple H.S. 1970 - 1974 before getting his G.E.D. Marvin also recorded a song for the local Hawaiian "Home Grown 3" Album with his entry "Kona Winds"[1] in 1978. He worked on Hawaiian and Japanese movies, and was also a DJ in Hawaii before creating his own TV Show in Honolulu in 1980 on public-access television cable TV. Additionally, Marvin was the first black Candidate for U.S. Senate in 1986 on the Republican ticket receiving 7,914 votes in the Republican primary against opponent Frank Hutchinson.
Marvin was a popular radio personality with a deep and soothing voice.
