GTS was first started by Gihan Fernando (W.G.T. Fernando) in his room with part time help from a few students of his at the University of Moratuwa, [http://www.itfac.mrt.ac.lk/ Faculty of Information Technology] .
Gihan Fernando founded GTS officially in 2007 with its new office located in Dehiwala, Sri Lanka. The first project undertaken was for creating the website for renowned eminent writer, orator, scholar, playwright Kala Suri

Local Projects
GTS, considered the pioneers of mobile gaming in Sri Lanka created the first Sinhala mobile game called
Colomba Wate (Colombo Ride). Anyone is able to freely download the game and play using a mobile. Weblink [http://www.games.lk Games website]On the 26th September 2008, during the celebrations (held at National Film Corporation, Colombo) of the 50th day of showing of 'Aba', GTS introduced 'Aba Hatana', the mobile game based on the epic film 'Aba'. GTS has also created the resourceful search engine focusing on Sri Lankan websites called Soyayan. It is used by many Sri Lankans to find specific Sri Lankan websites.
