List of UEFA club competition winners

UEFA is the administrative and controlling body for European association football. They run four club competitions: the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Cup, UEFA Intertoto Cup and UEFA Super Cup. They were also responsible for the running of the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, which was discontinued in 1999. The only team to have won all of these competitions is Italian club Juventus. They received "The UEFA Plaque" from UEFA in 1987 in recognition of winning four European trophies, not including the Intertoto Cup, which was not under the auspices of UEFA at the time. Juventus eventually won this competition in 1999.cite web|url=http://archiviostorico.gazzetta.it/1997/maggio/24/Tutto_inizio_con_poesia_ga_0_9705246555.shtml |title=All start 'with a little' poetry |work=Gazzetta dello Sport's Historical Archive |accessdate=1997-05-24 |language=Italian ] Juventus' fellow Italian club, Milan, are the most successful club, winning 14 competitions, while Spanish club Real Madrid, who hold the record for the most UEFA Champions League victories, are the second most successful, with 12 titles. Liverpool, who hold the joint record for the most UEFA Cup victories, are third, winning 11 competitions. Italian clubs are the most successful, having won 40 titles; English clubs are the second most successful with 36 titles; and Spanish clubs are the third most successful, winning 34 club competitions.

While the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup is considered to be the predecessor to the UEFA Cup, UEFA do not consider the tournament to be an official UEFA contest, and therefore successes in this competition are not included in the list.
