Ipso Facto Selecto

Ipso Facto Selecto

Ipso Facto Selecto is a phrase used to end an argument by essentially stating that the final conclusive fact has been verbalized that no additional arguments are necessary or possible. This phrase was made popular by 18th century poet and historian, Thomas Gray. The phrase is thought to be a mixture of Old English and Latin.
