The Age of Legal Capacity (Scotland) Act 1991 (c.50) is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom which reduced the age of majority in Scotland from 18 to 16 for the purposes of contract law. It also reduced to 12 the age at which a child could write a will.

The Scottish age of majority had previously been reduced from 21 by the "Age of Majority (Scotland) Act 1969". This act is still in force for purposes not covered by the 1991 legislation.
