Alexis Pelekanos (born June 10, 1986) is an American singer, songwriter and model. She was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is a pre-med student at the University of Southern California. She took part of the t.v. show in 2007.

Alexis tried out for in 2007 to be in the girl group Girlicious. The show began with one more week of auditions. Alexis was put in a group with Megan Dupre and Tiffanie Anderson. They all completed the song by Gloria Jones, Tainted Love. The next week, The girls moved into the loft and got an important message from Pussycat Dolls to have confidents. The challenge was to sing the national anthem but Alexis's team never got to sing. Alexis was put into a group with Jamie Ruiz, Cassandra Porter and Megan Dupre, but they all failed to do the pop song ...Baby One More Time by Britney Spears. Alexis completed it with the first one being called up safe. The next week, leaders were chosen from the strongest group and Alexis got chosen by Carrie Jones. She was with Jamie Ruiz, Cassandra Porter and again Carrie Jones. Alexis never won the challenge of singing on the stage with their fans judging them, but Alexis had good comments. The group did the Cyndi Lauper's hit song Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, but Alexis failed with her voice. She landed in the bottom 2, along with Chrystina Sayers. She got eliminated that night.

Career

She discovered her talent for music at the age of six, singing in the church choir. By the age of 17, she began performing with a band at various venues, such as the Hard Rock Café and Club Café in her hometown, as well as many classic venues in Los Angeles. Recently, with the love and support from her family and friends, she moved to LA to pursue her career in music. Alexis has just completed her first EP with producer Jim Huff. Her EP is featured on her site. The songs are called "You", "On to Something" and "Alright" will be the EP. On her MySpace, all of her songs can be heard, including, "You", "Rush", "Last Night", "On to Something" and "Alright". She is managed by Eddie Lambert.
