"Haworthia cymbiformis" is a species of the genus Haworthia in the family of Liliaceae or Asphodelaceae.

Plants are small with a rosette. Leaves are thick, light green.

The main characteristic of this species is that the end of the leaves is transparent. In the wild, the sun is very bright. the plant grows mostly buried by sand and only this transparent end of the leaves is above the ground.

Some other genus such as Fenestraria show transparent end of leaves.
