Alexander Sebastien Lee (director)

Alexander Sebastien Lee (born 1979) is an American filmmaker born and raised in Los Angeles,California. Lee was raised by his Korean mother Yuri Lee, [ [http://www.koreatowndaily.com/read.php?id=20071002154210&section=local&type=fdb&ss=6 Article from Koreatown Daily (in Korean)] ] who exposed him from an early age to the films of Akira Kurosawa, Zhang Yimou, and Claude Berri. In his teens, Lee studied theater in London at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, and at age 18, he lived in Paris and studied at the Sorbonne University.
