St. Wendel (Saarland ), August 16, 1776 -Vienna , 1856) was a German composer who lived primarily in Vienna. In the 1820s, his works were among the most-performed at theTheater an der Wien . A contemporary ofLudwig van Beethoven , very few of his works remain in the active reportoire today.Biography
Compositions
He was the composer of the thirty-fourth of the second-published set of
Diabelli Variations .
