Trybesmen (also known as Da Trybe) is an African hip-hop group from Lagos, Nigerian. Trybesmen has had chart-topping albums in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. Trybesmen was formed in 1998, but only achieved mainstream success in 2008 with the release of their duet album L.A.G Style. It became the highest selling indigenous rap album in Nigeria, selling over 50,000 copies the highest for any Nigerian hip hop group.
