His life
Yadollah Maftun Amini (Born in 1926 in Shahindezh) is one of Iranian contemporary poets.Yadollah Amini known as Maftun was born in 1926 in Shahindezh near to Tabriz. After completing primary and secondary school in his hometown, he immigrated to Tehran. He is educated from Tehran University's Faculty of Law. Now he lives in Tehran with a background of working as judge and legal adviser. First he started with classic poetic style, but then specially after 1980s continued with modern and nonrhythmic forms of poetry [1] .Maftun is one of modernist poets who Shamlu had named him as "The Kind Obsession of Poem" because of his special interest in semantics and usage of words in poem. He has been awarded the prize of "Bizhan jalali" in 2007 for his continuous contribution to enrich Iranian modern poetry. He has enlisted among well known poets and writers under the entry of Tabriz in Wikipedia. [2]
