Neelakuyil (film)

"Neelakuyil" (English -The Blue Cuckoo) is a Malayalam film released in 1954. It won the President's Silver Medal for best film. It was based on a novel written by Uroob. Before the release of Neelakuyil, all films was inspired from Tamil melodramatic films and most of the directors were also Tamil film makers.Fact|date=August 2008
