Amphigeneia

Amphigeneia (Greek: Αμφιγένεια, Amfigeneia or Amfigenia, also with the first e accented) was an ancient city in ancient Elis.

The city was famous during the times of Strabo, Pausanias visited the area and did not had any source, the area which had its trackings. It was one of Nestor's several city-states of Homeric Pylos and later became a part of the kingdom of Skillountia, the city had a sacred area of Leto. The ancient Eleans believed that Apollo was born here [Strabo "Geography" VIII.]
