Gabriel Emilio Hernández Ibarzábal (born October 24, 1978) is a Mexican visual artist and writer

Life

Ibarzábal received a BA in Communications at the Universidad Intercontinental in Mexico City while studyingacting in La Casa del Teatro. He studied a Postgraduate in Theory and Aesthetics of Contemporary Arts at the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona and also received a degree from the Institute del Teatre in Scenic Art. He has also studied at Central St Martins in London.

At the age of 21 he self-published his first book of poems "Atrapando al Viento" -Catching the Wind-, and had his first art show in Mexico City, an exhibition of watercolors. In Mexico City he also worked as a freelance journalist.
