Terri Lee Stickles (born May 11, 1946 in San Mateo, California) was an American Olympic swimmer. She won a bronze medal for the women's 400-meter freestyle swimming at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

“I was very happy to win bronze,” Strunck said. “Just making it to the Olympics was a dream come true for me.”

She was a member of the [http://www.santaclaraswimclub.org Santa Clara Swim Club] , notable for producing Olympic swimmers such as Donna de Varona and Mark Spitz. She trained with swimming coach George Haines.

Her brother, Edward "Ted" Stickles, was also a swimmer and is an inductee in the International Swimming Hall of Fame. Unfortunately, he developed tendonitis in his elbow and missed making the 1964 Olympic team. They would have been the first brother and sister to make an Olympic team.

Stickles was married to long-distance runner Álvaro Mejía (athlete). Stickles brought Mejía to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1969. They met in Cali, Colombia, where Terri was a Peace Corps volunteer.

Terri Stickles Strunk is now retired and living in Calaveras County, California. She is a fused glass artist.
