FINA World Championships - Short Course

FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) or "Short Course Worlds" (as they are sometimes times referred), are held every two years in a 25m swimming pool. They are run by FINA.

Unlike the World Championships in aquatics, this championship is swimming-only, and is contested in a 25m pool rather than a 50m pool. ("short course" refers to the shorter overall length of the pool: 25m vs. 50m).
