David Williams Bentley

David Williams Bentley(1882-1970) was the 7th Bishop of Barbados [ [http://www.geocities.com/CapitolHill/Rotunda/2209/Barbados.html Barbadian dignitaries] ] . Educated at the Universities of London and Durham [“Who was Who” 1897-1990 London, A & C Black, 1991 ISBN 071363457X] , he was ordained Deacon in 1906 and Priest a year later. His first posts were curacies in Barrow and Bethnal Green followed by a spell as Vicar of "St James Plaistow" [ [http://www.eolfhs.org.uk/parish/plaistow.htm Parish History] ] .
