David James is an American acoustic folk rock singer-songwriter, currently residing in Los Angeles. He has so far released two albums, available for digital download only, along with one EP availible to download for free from his [http://heardavidjames.com/# website] .

=Early Life=David James' father was the front man of the South Jersey band Sweet Life and raised David on 1960's and 1970's folk music. He attended Episcopal Academy High School in Merion, PA and was awarded the "Dorah Kyatt Award for Vocal Performance for Southeastern Pennsylvania" as a key role in two singing groups. After high school, David attended the University of Virginia, where he notably performed in the a capella band the Hullabaloos. Afterwards, he moved to the University of Pennsylvania where he sang in "Off the Beat", who in his final year collected several awards for their album, "Burn Like A Roman Candle".
