Vincent Como is a Brooklyn-based
visual artist . His work is rooted inMinimalism ,Conceptual Art , and Color Field Painting with a specific focus towardBlack . Como has referenced the influence ofAd Reinhardt andKasimir Malevich , as well as movements such as the ItalianArte Povera movement from the 1960’s. Como’s work employs the use of the black field as a meditation on the constituent associations of the color black (Black Holes,
