- Maciek Grzywacz
Maciek Grzywacz studied classical guitar in Warsaw (Poland) and in Munich (Germany). During his 8 years in Germany, he performed solo classical guitar concerts. Maciej’s musical activity at that time also embraced the jazz scene of Munich. His latest project ‘Maciej Grzywacz Quartet’ featuring Avishai Cohen was recently presented during a tour to Israel and Poland. Maciej has recorded several albums, including two as a co–leader & composer of the famous Polish jazz group (0–58), which received nominations for the prestigious polish music award Fryderyk. He has collaborated with several notable musicians including; Maciej Sikała, Jacek Kochan, Janusz Muniak, Adam Pieronczyk, Wojciech Staroniewicz, Leszek Mozdzer, Avishai Cohen, Jakob Dinesen, Tyler Hornby and many others. Maciej has also performed in many prestigious festivals including the Warsaw Summer Jazz Festival, as well as jazz clubs in Poland, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Russia, Bulgaria, Romania and Israel. www.maciekgrzywacz.art.pl
